Shiny happy speakers holding hands.
my mac goes ga-ga for go-go harddrives.
domo arrigato, mr droboto!
My lap is extra warm with excitement at possibly winning the Thermapak. Thx TUAW!
one jailbreak later and i'm off and running with cash still in pocket.

i always thought it suspect that apple charged for these upgrades right after the holiday season (when many among us received their touchy ipod).

what's with that freakishly long finger attached to the freakishly orange?
it's a novel gift idea, but that's about it.

there's no doubt that you could build this yourself on the cheap (assuming you've got a box full of old cassettes lying around) but the custom labeling and box give it some extra retro flavor.

i'd concider a few if it they were $20 delivered. let's hope the dollar bounces back against the euro in time for Christmahanukahkwanzaa.
ditto on the "another cap to lose" sentiment. but i'm glad to see the combo version with fw ports. (what happens if/when the usb cable gets inadvertently pulled out?)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
