All I have to say is I better be personally fighting Ganon in 1:1 movements in the next zelda. As long as im dropping 80 bucks for a controller on an already overpriced system (all that talk about wanting it to be $99 was apparently crap once they started selling so many) this better be frieken amazing because all my wii is used for now is the marios/zeldas and the occasional drinking activity.

Well thats not true, the homebrew channel is opened frequently....
if you pick me, i promise to stimulate the economy all night long
Aaaaaaaaaaaand the storm bashing/iphone ftw roxorz beginnnsssssssssss.

NOW!

Its the launch of a service people. Noone cares why blackberry/iphone rules/sucks.
But...thats not an iphone. It must suck.

But in all seriousness I'm a happy storm owner. Noone can argue that verizon didn't release this phone at least 4-5months too early. The OS is not in its final stages even at this level. I paid literally 30 bucks for this thing. 199 with instant rebate, 100$ Ne2, 50$ Verizon VIP discount, and 20 bucks because my order shipped late.

For a 30$ phone, i am FAR from complaining about this thing. .65 was crap, but seriously its still better than EVERY smartphone out from verizon. WiMo is wimo, and as a past developer for it it, i despise it. However, I really cant understand why this thing isn't updated faster than this. This is the progress made in 2 full months?

This is verizons flagship right now, and since blackberries multitask, people looking at the phone leave stuff running in the background, so anyone looking at the phone after 2pm has the same impression. Its slow and its crap. Also, for reasons I cant possibly understand, people are dumbfounded by the click. I think its really cool, but should be able to be disabled.

Anyway, my point is, this is all verizon has. RIM should be working round the clock on fixing this thing. When I got it, it barely made phone calls, let alone answered them. This is all well and good RIM, but what do you have, 6 guys working on this thing? Come on.

Nobody that has an iPhone is going to say positive things about this phone. This is Verizons last chance. Im going day one and testing it out, if its a decent phone ill stay with my better reception and settle for a less flashy phone. If it isnt good, Im walking right over to the apple store.

With projected release dates already passing, how bout giving an actual one. Im sitting on a Razr with a busted outer screen.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
