Its called company loyalty ! Imagine if Sony had an event, and it's CEO caught a division employee using a Panasonic camera ? Yeah Microsoft has been rather scizopherenic as of late. But I don't blame they a business. They looking into new markets. They can't be a software company forever.
Argh I'm sick & tired of smartphones & pmp's sayn' HD at the end when the display cant even didisplay in HD ! Its a nice attempt but if this had WiMAX... now that would make up for the disappointing resolution. C'mon Microsoft I know yall want to...
Toyota could place a small solar panel on the Prius where the sunroof would be & you could be charging your batteries continously while driving reguardless of whether the car is charging through regenitive braking or not add that together with a plug in hybrid technology. Looks like the worlds No. 1 isn't sleeping... Considering that Panasonic supplys Toyota with batteries & they've just accquired Sanyo, who are leaders in solar technology :-?
Why hasn the WiMax forum developed a standard for voip as yeat ? or have they ?
Okay (Aus)$199 sounds like a deal... but seriously sourcing a device from a chinese odm then just configuring android to the device isn't as easy as it sounds. Theres extensive testing that has to be done to iron out bugs & if he's just outsourcing development will they support updates ? Another thing is Kogan is online retailer only so it will be unlocked so how will it support app stores & music stores with out offical carrier support ? Australia uses the 850mhz/900mhz/1900mhz/2100mhz bands so it has to be quad band 3G & has to be registered with Australia's FCC which could be a month. Then theres production & shipping... If he can do all this before xmas i'll call him a genius. And if he wants his device to really sell let it support telstras hspa+.
Yawn ... no matter how good it looks its still WinMo 6.1 in a fancy frock... Note to Samsung call us when WinMo 7 is out or when you've grown the balls to release the ALP based i800...
Hurra im the first. We still anxiously waiting for the HTC G1 here in South Africa, but I can forsee a port over to a Touch HD or Touch Quartz (T8982) like devices from HTC. Doubt this will bode well for apple especially if has copy & paste as standard.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
