I dont think anybody ever wins this stuff
Raw computing power is always worth more than a better display.

People don't have to buy a new computer every 3 years because their screen isn't a high enough resolution. They have to buy a new computer because their old one can't keep up with new programs.

Microsoft is absolutely correct in running ads like this. People don't have a lot of money right now. Pointing out that you get way more bang for your buck from a PC is a way better marketing scheme than the Apple commercials that show how "cool" a mac is.

I'd also like to point out that Engadget was so quick to notice the trend in HP products being purchased. What about the obvious biased journalism from the Engadget staff? Seriously. Who in their right budget conscious mind would pay an extra thousand dollars for laptop to get a better display?

Hell, if you love the Mac OS so much, format your hard drive and boot it on a PC.
Samsung 800 series. Highest contrast ratio, best representation of 120HZ, and highest customer satisfaction rating.

its not hard to lose to that.
I'm stuck on level 50, where is everyone else?
Is it true that the Verizon Diamond will only support microSD not SDHC? if thats true, its a waste of space, and can't compete with the iPhone. Maybe if they had an iPhone nano it could hang.
phonearena.com lists the omnia without WiFi. Of course their information is "preliminary" and "subject to change", so I hope they're wrong.

Personally, if the Omnia from Verizon comes with everything it has over seas except WiFi, I'm still gonna buy it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
