I have the sprint TP2 and the whole 3.5 thing was never really a plus for me I really don’t care on using the adapter on all my previous HTC phones. Everybody else gets bent out of shape when it doesn’t have one because it isn’t “stylish” or whatever. So I actually found it quite amusing when my 3.5 goes out completely on my TP2 less 30 days after I got it. This is my fourth HTC phone and first one to give problems. Ooh and the so called “G@N&ST@ T@LK” or retard talk uses lots of symbols too
Windows is a software company and SONY has the psp, Simple as that (arent sony and erickson two seperate companies)
Yes more people will buy it at 199 but windows mobile is not for everyone and maybe (I SAID MAYBE!!) a higher priced phone will keep returns down

Also what difference does it make.. If you want sprint then buy it and vice-versa the carriers don't care about you. Each one has its pros and cons.... all you have to do is look at those and make a damn decision and if it works for you then buy it and shut the **** up

Don't be a fanboy or girl because ultimately they always miss out on a good product by a competitor regardless of who your a fanboy off.

Wow I was thinking the same exact thing, capacitive displays are a complete deal breaker for me especially on a windows phone and if you happen have nails, all I can say is good luck because using the phone becomes a total pain in the ass.
Wow where is the HTC hate coming from, I have owned nothing but HTC and have never had a problem that I couldn't fix myself without running to the sprint store. I had a GPS problem with my 6900 and a quick visit to XDA a cab install later and no probs have the Diamond now phone is great. Please people do your damn research before you buy anything but of course wont they will all probably swarm for this like they did for the storm.

ALSO I love it when people complain about battery life yea the battery life is not the best but it last 2 hours with Tomtom, playing music connected to my radio. checking for emails every 10 minutes on 3 accounts and the occasional phone call all at the same time. On days I only make phone call it goes all day but noooo everybody wants a powerhouse phone that last 4 days on a charge but doesn't sacrifice size. Well guess what I want my Alienware to last more than 1 hour while editing or my car to get more than 12 miles a gallon but guess what it wont happen. If you need a phone or laptop with great battery life or even a car with good gas mileage DO YOUR FN RESEARCH FIRST. Don't buy a V8 if you have no MONEY, Don't buy an gaming laptop if you will be traveling all day and please don't buy a PDA if you don't know what the hell it is. Complaining on the web wont do anything the companies already have your money.
NO worries early storm buyers you will all be covered. You have probably have had your original storm replaced so many times that by now you might be able to make a arguable argument that you deserve a different phone(good luck). Everybody and there mother is buying a storm and some just don't understand that replacing it will NOT solve all your issues. Its unfortunate techs have learned that throwing another phone at a customer is the perfect way to solve the problem the first two times and HOPEFULLY they wont work with you when they come back because really using the same "software update is coming soon" excuse only worked for the first five months..
It was in November that the storm was released and since December people have been waiting for this magic software update that will make things all better. Its may15 already and still no official update I am sorry but to me it seems like you all early adopters just got shafted. By the time that magic OS update comes out the new storm will be out and sorry to say with Verizon this wont surprise me, just remember it took almost a year for the 6.1 release for the 6900 right when nobody cared anymore and still no official update for the 6850 and the 6950 just got released.
I want one too
This is not true, I have not seen any emails or anything in regard to this but I have already have had calls with people even asking for a replacement with the sku given above demanding a replacement. To the people that are mad at the post, well at least you can enjoy the angry calls when you say no and dont budge with you answer.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
