I love Nokia phones but cannot stand the S60 as a phone OS. It does not 'feel' like a legitimate OS to me. But hey, it is personal opinion. I have handled one in real life and they are fantastic as far as the build goes.
I sure wish there were some shots of this phone other than this same one that has been floating around the internet. Someone get a hands on with this thing!! Because it looks weird with the giant bezel and I want to make sure that it is not hiding something else.
Looking at the dimensions, it is slightly longer and wider than the Fuze but nearly a quarter inch thinner. However the kicker is the resolution... Fuze has 480 x 640 VGA display while this has the better display (wQVGA) but only at a 240 x 400.
I am a die hard Apple fanboy that is seriously considering getting this phone over the iPhone. It really irks me that the iPhone has no expandable storage, replaceable battery and has a stronghold on the app store, keeping out apps that would directly compete with the ones already found on the phone.
The day that this phone was launched I found a local ATT store with one and got to play around with it. I was very impressed with the overall feel and with the TouchFlo overlay. The only problem that I may have is with the size of the keys on the keyboard. I am 6'2" so my hands are larger than the average person.
Stopped by the local ATT store on the way home after seeing this. I am pretty sure that this will be my next phone when I am upgrade eligible come Nov. 26th. Love the look and feel!! It is between this and the iPhone but with the way the iPhone is locked down and playing bully in the app store, I am thinking this will be it!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
