2 years on and which of those phones made the the biggest impact on the mobile phone industry? The iPhone OS has had the most influence on other manufacturers 'look and feel' including LGs.

Because Joe, 'iPhone users' are the general public. Who do not no anything about Google latitude, or indeed 'tracking'. They don't spend there time posting on forums, browsing geek websites, FLAMING faceless nerds. They just go about their everyday, i might even say boring, lives. Millions of them.

That why when Apple introduce a piece of existing technology to them, re-packaged, glitzed up and made super user friendly, they think its cool. And yes thats why a lot of geeks/nerds/technology enthusiasts, call them what you will, tend to get wound up about Apple. But its all lost on me. I am one of those afore mentioned types and I like Apple products.

Amazes me how Apple hating feature monkeys jump to the defense of any non Apple product when comparisons are made.

Palm along with all other mobile phone manufacturers where caught resting on their shabby laurels, ripping consumers off with shabby operating system and outdated UI's. Then the iPhone is released and a million clones pop up, some months and years later.

So much hate when really you should be thanking Apple for bringing mobile devices up to spec and up to date.

Which is I why I say F*Ck em all and download their music illegally for free. Support the bands through going to gigs, when they get too old to gig regularly, they are probably past it has beens who aren't releasing relevant material anymore. eg. Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Guns and Roses, The Who. These fogies rake enough in through royalties to pay for not only their retirement but the grandchildren's as well.

What do you mean 'even Hip Hop'. Is Hip Hop not just a valid style of music as as Rock or Inde? Or is it because you're not black you feel that you shouldn't like it?
