Please, oh please tell this phone doesn't have that shitty Qualcomm processor.
@Jeff I'm up for one. Kind of disappointed to say the least though. I've always wanted an Android flip in a RAZR3/Klassic body but with a 3' and WVGA screen without being huge like those Japanese phones. I suppose some dreams just don't happen. Back to the topic, why must they always go with the friggin' Qualcomm processors!? You would think that Moto would start putting quality processors ever since they introduced the Droid.
@qrius You know, I'm starting to loathe Snap Dragon now. Why you may ask? Simply because people just don't get it: Clock Speed DOES NOT DETERMINE SPEED.
I've tried the keyboard, and it typed pretty good. Though it is a bit too squished. But I don't see this doing as well anymore considering the droid is coming out. Though, I wish this had a larger screen and faster processor. Looks like a great gaming phone.
I get sick and tired of always hearing "I wish it had Android", "Put Android on the HD2/Touch Pro2 and it's an Epic WIN", "WinMo sux!!! iPhone rulz".

I may be an Android Fan, but that doesn't imply that I have an illogical hate for Windows mobile. It has Windows Mobile on people, GET OVER IT!! Honestly, Windows Mobile isn't that bad, but it surely is not perfect(but then again, what is?). You shouldn't always stop on it, as Windows Mobile 7 is on the works. And if its any thing like the Zune HD OS or those early render pics, then its surely a killer.
Why the hell do I ALWAYS see comments with people saying "You should get the HD2" or "HTC [insert product] will be better than he Droid" in every single post about the Droid in just about every gadget blog? I'm getting the feeling these droid posts are being spammed by HTC Bots =/
Whaa? How dare you steqal the other half of my name!

Aside from that, you have just displayed nothing but your ignorance. Android 2.0 is gearing towards a better gaming outlook for the OS. On top of that, the Droid, running OMAP3, will have separate proccessors that runs faster than an overclocked 3GS and have better graphics than a PSP(Go search on the TI's OMAP3430 specs). Another point is that the Android web browser is just as good as the iPhone's, and if that isn't enough it will come with HTML5/ Flash 10 later on. Considering this is a Motorola and experiencing the music capabilities of the E8, there's a good chance this phone will have a solid media player. And finally, the Android App Market is growing just as the iPhone's market is. However, Android isn't limited to one hardware, one carrier, and is an open platform. I can tell you that the Android market will exceed the iPhone's mediocre apps sometime in 2010/2011.
It actually looks really cool in red.
The date from PS3 Fan Boys is blatantly evident. But of course, Engadget thrives on flame wars ;)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
