Am I the only one that read that as "double-u, eight?" Ha ha, I know it's because I've been a little slow today but that just threw me off! Please try to keep text-speak off the Internet in the future.
So now that the Storm 2, Bold 9700, and Curve 8530 are out, I guess that all we have to wait for now is the new Blackberry Pearl 9100.... well and the Tour 2, but I don't expect that for a little while.
so wait... two days after i order my limited edition xbox 360 bundle off of amazon, one in every ten articles on Engadget are about juicy upcoming PlayStation 3 software. It figures! Oh well. I think I ultimately made the right decision for myself.
I really like the idea of an already well-renowned desktop-quality web browser on the PlayStation 3. It would definitely (I'd hope) get those minds working up in Redmond as to how they are going to combat that, considering that thus far they haven't really put any web browsing capabilities into the Xbox 360. God, let's hope they don't decide to port Internet Explorer over to it! Well, considering I just ordered the Limited Edition 360 over the PS3, I hope they do do something! On a related note, does the fact that I always use Firefox over Safari or Chrome or something mean I'm lagging behind?
How much does AOL pay you that you think a $300 Blackberry should be a stocking stuffer?
Yeah... something about this makes me feel like it's an irresponsible decision on Samsung's part. It almost makes me want it to fail. I mean we already have like six mobile operating systems, I think that ought to be enough to choose from.
I'm going to New York sometime next month. Hopefully you guys will be having another show right around the time that I'm up there because, in that case, I will most definitely be there! On a related note, I'm kind of jealous of whoever gets that MW2 Xbox bundle considering I just spent $400 on mine. It left Kentucky early yesterday morning; cannot wait for it to get here (even though I can't use it until Christmas)!!
@trevor
well if i were the employee being spun around i think i would rather be flung into the brunette than the wall... at least she has air bags
Yeah, as someone who has been kind of back and forth with the whole Xbox 360 or PS3 thing for 2009 Christmas present, this is a bit of a downer as I expected Sony to directly put out some competition for the November Dashboard update for Xbox 360. I guess they decided they could just play catch up? Well as far as my decision goes, I really wanted Blu-ray as I have used my gaming consoles as my movie player for years and thought that a PS3 would be a great way to jump into Blu-ray. However, the fact that virtually all of my friends are on Xbox LIVE rather than PSN, as well as the fact that 1080p Zune Video downloads and Netflix will be available for Xbox, have kind of turned my decision around and I think I may finally be ready to choose. It would (will??) be very different using an Xbox 360 after becoming accustomed to the PlayStation way of things with my PS2 and PS1 before that, though. Oh well! It may be the best time ever to jump in on the PS3 but, as someone who is just now delving into this generation of consoles, it will probably be the Xbox 360 for me.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
