This was a simple business decision, because VODAFONE UK offers the BLACKBERRY BOLD for free with a 35GBP data plan. In the US, the G1's initial and running costs are still cheaper than being on Verizon. Plus, every phone T-Mobile seems to be selling in its stores right now seems to be a G1. Why would they lower their price if they can sell it at the current one just fine??
True. Unlike a certain OTHER phone I might mention, the G1 had the ability to let you switch Data Roaming on and off from day one...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
