It's hard to see any adoption of Limo on other players than Vodafone that invested on the platform so much in the past.

Guys,
look at: http://blog.symbian.org/2009/06/04/silicon-heaven/

"The environment consists of an ST-Ericsson U8500 smart phone platform embedding the first silicon implementation of ARM® Cortex™-A9 MPCore in the industry."

I always thought that Symbian was going to invest strong on MPCores.

Let's see.

Since WM7 will be the only OEM oriented platform that will be not "royalty free" for OEMs it will need to be: impressive, effective, innovative and easy to use for OEM. Consolidate and clarify HW requirements is a good step in this direction.

Not sure that M$ will produce any M$ branded phone.
First they should accept to act as a niche player (like Apple or RIM) but, we know, that's not familiar at Redmond.
Completely agree with JS Winston.
Also let me say that previous experience made by Nokia with ST instead of TI wasn't so encouraging.
Take a look to any comparison between N96 and N85 in terms of performances.

It's not a surprise to me that N97 will run on a TI chipset.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
