It boggles my mind why some of you Iphone users (i have a Iphone/blackberry) do know you can send a MMS to someone with
the iphone.

just find out hte carrieres SMS gateway and send a email as a MMS to their phone. It's insanly easy.

5555555555@att.mobile.com 5555555555@vcast.verizon.com or whatever the carries mms gateway's are.
IN For a Bag filled of win!
ORB Live has been doing it..and when it launched at first..it was video only over Wifi..a few weeks later the updated it
and allowed it over 3G.

The only thing that i don't like about orb is the quality is alright i wish the frame rate was higher.
My guess is that they cracked 2.28.00 baseband

Good news for those new iphone users and those who upgrade without knowing
I don't think at&t has a issue with it..seeing as orb does the same exact thing. At first the only way to stream video was on wifi..
but a update was quickly added that allowed it over 3G too.
I'll be watching white christmas!
You've always been able to activate them at home.

If one was to steal a BUNCH of sealed Iphone 3G's if they put in a at&t sim and plug it into itunes it will unbrick the phone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
