Idiots huh? So then explain why most of the cellphone market if flocking to Verizon and AT&T who's prices are higher than Sprint. It's not coverage, it's not price either, which leaves TECHNOLOGY!!
Sprint lacks the devices to make people even want to try them out, instead everyone wants to try the iPhone, the Omnia, the Blackberry Storm and the list goes on.
Why is it that every other carrier offers a touchscreen which appeals to both novices and business users but Sprint doesn't? Why is it that every other carrier has some exclusive phone but Sprint doesn't (AT&T - iphone // Verizon - Blackberry Storm // T-Mobile - Sidekick and G1)? Why is it that all of the Sprint high end devices are available on other carriers (Touch Diamond, Touch Diamond Pro, Blackberry Curve, etc)?
Sprint needs that one WOW device to compliment the coverage and low prices.
And this is EXACTLY why Sprint is losing so many customers. Instead of going after the Samsung Omnia or Pixon, or the Touch HD, or any other full screen touch phone.....they release a PINK version of the Instinct which is outdated compared to every other touchscreen on the market.
Why not invest time in getting Android or something that will ACTUALLY make people wants to use and stay. The low monthly rates is the only thing keeping me otherwise I would've switched to a carrier that is going to get newer technology!
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
