Yes please - me too.
Strange you didn't mention WebOS support, despite it being what they're demoing flash on? It's definitely supported, which should be a great addition for Palm's web standards heavy OS.
I think these arguments are weak at best, but I'm most concerned about his argument that this could interfere with audio rights elsewhere. Basically that means if it's an extra purchase, it's something that the publisher could refuse to allow for particular books if the audio rights have already been exclusively licensed, and that's just no good for anyone.

The lost screen real-estate is tragic (depressingly so). That said, this looks like an awesome mobile messenger device, and at the price (somewhere around 212-260 US unlocked), It's the perfect device to tide over folks who want to get into android but either don't like sliders, or are on ATT.

Can't wait to check this out.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
