The BB Storm 2 is great and all but the best phone that VZW will be coming out will be the VZW version of the HTC Hero (proposed name for VZW "Sleuth"). This coming from my Associate Director boyfriend of VZW Rochester call center. He has been a die hard BB fan and swore to never change. Once he got his hands on the Sleuth he has decided to change once it is released. He went through all features and functions on 10/19 in a product meeting and loves the Android firmware.

iPhone, Palm and Android phones won't be coming out until LTE is geared up.

That's rediculous if the phone is $2,000.

I think what we are seeing here with AT&T changing their data terms is conforming to some of the other carriers. Most carriers do not give you the ability to use as many third party apps and this is for security on their devices as well as some of these apps can change the settings and cause problems.
Clearly shown in the snip of contract from BRAD that changing the Price is the only action shown that will allow you to get out of your contract. Changing the conditions however will not.
The only way to "boycott" against these actions is to not use the data services at all. Believe me these carriers are depending on these services. (i should know i worked at Verizon Wireless for 2 years).
Worse comes to worse we all know that an action like this could bring about a Class Action lawsuit and most carriers tend to not want those.

Seriously i want to fly to Chicago just to play with it! You don't see any of the big carriers doing this do you. Bad A**!

This is unbelieveable. If any man ever did this to one of my friend's then he could expect me personally to come f*** his world up quick. You never hit another person unless it's self defense in a violent situation, period. I hate to see this up on the web everywhere but it really gives you a look at what is going on behind closed doors of some relationships. I hope she leaves him for good and becomes an advocate against domestic violence. As for him, punished to the full extent of the law.

This is very shocking that Verizon would do this. Dating a supervisor at the local call center profits did not show that they had been affected by the weakening economy. In fact an early last week post in Engadget said Verizon grew in profits 15% i think. So why is there a need to slash customer discounts? Hope everyone reads their contracts.

I so want that phone! Please Please Please!
