Its Verizon people it sucks they cripple every phone and 99% of their phones don't work oversees.

Don't bother Verizon equals local home boys with no clue of the world around them,. Go USA
This is not a surprise, US has been behind an will fall further behind not to mention more costly services only a surprise if you don't travel and are the common uneducated American.
is it possible that there are soo many losers in this world? or better in this country. SAD
who cares about t-mobile its all about coverage and t-mobile sucks
finnaly a nice construtive comment that actually helps. Thanks.
Aussies are from Australia not Austria retards hahahahaha
don't worry AT&T and Verizon especially will find creative ways to cripple their devices and not being compatible with the rest of the world. USA USA USA
Its ALL about specs is it quad band GSM and which triband 3g?
We in US have been way behind in both speed and coverage, this is no surprise I go to Europe regularly and can tell you it's disappointing to see how much better their phones and service is also.
Sad but true slowly but surely Iphone will become irrelevant simply because of their refusal to improve minor but important features like MMS, copy and paste, etc... Soon enough other will catch up and much like the computers will become a niche market product.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
