Verizon gets a couple phones that people might want, and then hit them in the face with a $350 ETF. Many people will have no idea until the point of sale. "The Nations Greediest Network".
I dropped a Motorola MPx220 Windows phone. The UI was very clunky, navigation was done with a 4 way pad for the most part. Files would get lost in the endless amount of folders. Most email would not download correctly. Also there was a bug where the voicemail icon would not turn off after listening to a new voicemail. Not once in the 2 years I own the phone did I see any software updates. Life is good with my iPhone.
I do a lot of streaming thru Orb, while using bluetooth headphones. The Mophie Juice Pack will get me extra play time before recharging. The Hip Holster will keep everything safe when not in use.
If this device comes out on verizon it will fail. Verizon will cripple it, just like the rest of their hardware. Consumers will not get the full Mac expirience. In turn, they could lose potential Mac buyers. I'm sure it'll be loaded up with all of verizon's add on crap.

I'll keep my MacBook and AT&T card.
Southeast MI here, I have 3G coverage and full bars where ever I go. I have had very few issues with AT&T.
What is the purpose of keeping GMC around? How many versions of a truck do you need? Why not just take the best features of the brand and use them in Chevy and Buick? This would give Chevy trucks a upscale trim, and give Buick some decent crossovers with less competition in the segment. In turn saving on the manufacturing side thru less complexity.
So it is ok to stream tv channels, as long as you pay $15 more a month for mobile tv. Come on...
Chances are if you are in an area with wifi you can watch your programs on a T.V. AT&T needs to step up and come to the party. Otherwise apps like this are pretty much useless.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
