This is called the Submerge, and yes the word, it is rumored it can be under water for 30 seconds.
The Droid will fail, just as the storm did. Go to Sprint, save $, and get the same if not better service. I really dont care which carrier people go with, just ANYTHING but AT&T....I mean seriously, why anyone who does NOT have an iphone is on AT&T makes no sense!!!
Ok, seriously NO ONE is going to be lining up for this device!!! VZW is hyping this up WAAAAY too much.
Ill take this ANYDAY on Sprint with my current plan:

500 Anytime Minutes
UNLIMITED calling TO ANY CELL PHONE regardless of carrier (yes its true!)
Unlimited nights @ 7pm
Unlimited Weekends
Unlimited Text Messages
Unlimited Blackberry
Unlimited Internet
Unlimited Pic Mail
Unlimited GPS Navigation
Unlimited TV
27% Wells Fargo Employee Discount

Only $51 a month!!! Gotta LOVE Sprint! FASTEST 3G network and best call quality hands down!
This is like Welfare Wireless. Seriously, wouldnt you be embarassed to carry around a brand that the company allows you to put stuff on layaway? If you cant afford it, just stick to prepaid, besides does anyone have worse network than Tmobile??? (well maybe AT&T!)
So same price as Sprint for 1/2 the network quality and NO 3G?...ummm I'll pass. Nice try t-mobile. Love my $99 everything plan with my Pre on Sprint...I would NEVER go near GSM poor call quality again.
Is it just me or is Sprint KILLING the competion with their handset lineup?!?!
I do not for the life of me understand WHY people are so in love with the iphone that they are willing to pay sooooo much a month, for dropped calls and terrible 3G coverage and speeds.

GET OVER THE HYPE!! Switch to Sprint...you will save over 40% per month and have MUCH less dropped calls and the fastest 3G service.

Just makes no damn sense!
Its amazing...all the Sprint haters on here, all of a sudden jump on the best 3G network bandwagon! LMAO!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
