I wouldn't run and buy it so fast...
Notice Windows Mobile 6.5 is just around the corner now, and although this device is upgradable - who knows what problems might happen when you do the upgrade...

Nevertheless - a very nice device indeed.
It seems like Modu came too late.

The big guys are competing now and it's hard to match the iPhone / Android / BlackBerry. Poor little Modu is just not the answer.

The second problem with it is with the jackets. It's such a cool concept but seems not practical.

I think that the concept is innovative and cute, I even tried playing with Modu for a little while. However, I personally prefer one "all-in-one" power device that will have everything built in.

I can't see myself walking around with few jackets in my bag. Mainly because I don't carry a bag... but also because it's annoying.

I get everything I need from my iPhone, and I will not start switching jackets in the middle of the street to take a picture with better quality...

It's the Androids Attack!

http://mobilespoon.blogspot.com/2009/05/can-it-be-that-android-is-growing.html

(Although I must say half of the year is already behind us so that doens't leave much time for those 20 phones to show up...)
It's a shame they removed the trackball.

Iron Man will be pissed about it...

On the other hand, the optical D-Pad is fun to use as well... (used it with the Samsing Omnia and it's actually fun!)
Much better than that ugly looking diamond cover. (hate diamonds)
Wow. Looks so cool.
I just wish it wasn't based on Symbian. We never get along...

(Although my guess is that Samsung probably wrapped it up with their own customizations, just like they did with the previous Omnia which was based on Windows Mobile).

In any event, I just found the perfect configuration for the old Omnia (link to tips below), so I'm guessing I will be waiting for the next WinMo based Omnia phone and skip this one...

I actually like this cute little buddy.

And Samsung did impress me with the Omnia...

The only problem is that I'm not used to WinMo standard - what can you do with it? it's all seems so simple and old... boring...
At least with the professional version you can add cool shell apps into it to make things look & feel better
The biggest one gets the strongest spanking.
It's like when we were kids.

(I was the biggest one...)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
