i agree, and those ads are not bad at all, i cant belive thats what everyone was complaining about. i was imagining a minute long clip like on hulu or something with the way people were talking about it.
this sucks! now I have no plans on ever joining verizon, but you now that the other telcos (starting with at&t) are gonna follow suite like they always do, and within a year this will be standard across the carriers.
When will these companies undersand (I'm looking at you Dell, Sony, and Nokia) that no market exists for a premium netbook. Those of us who are willing to pay $1,000-$2,000 care more about performance than asthetics, and those of us who don't care about performance aren't willing to spend more than $300-$400. So stop developing products that miss the mark on both ends and instead make great powerfull compact laptops for $1000-$2000 and and small light weight atom laptops for $300.
Now where getting somewhere 3d. Hopefully in a couple year we can get this up to 50"+, HD, and viewable from all angles then you can sign me up, but for once I am kinda excited thinking about where this technology could go.
That's cool and all, but could you release a non-HD version so I can watch on my iPhone? It can't do HD.
Great scott!!!!! So this means i can watch HD while traveling through time? Is there anything the flux capacitor cant do?
so who's in charge naming these builds, kristie alley?
@mark
ok, I love Sony products (I have a ps2, ps3, Sony HDTV, Sony home theater system, and sony car stereo), but what you said makes absolutley no sence. More likely it was the tv studios, though it wouldn't surprise me if it was Sony themselves so that you have have to buy that content from the playstation store instead of watching for free on hulu.
i figured he trying to call the cops, but couldn't get a signal. oh the irony.
well, i said oled, but the next tv i will buy will be for the bedroom, and that will probably be an lcd. but i do plan on eventually replacing the living room rear projection sony with an oled.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
