for games like madworld, and no more heroes, I see little to no adverts from the publishers, seriously, those games are so good, The problem with the good 3rd party games is they make no effort to make their work known. I am a veteran gamer, and I hear bout these games via blogs/sites very often, but for the casual gamer to which these games appeal to, how the %R$@ are they suppose to know about them?!
Are you sure its the Pre? and not the iphone? Hell it has been goin on before either. I remember this stuff happening when the slimline dumbphones came out... everyone wanted the RAZR when it came out. Now its the iphone... the pre... the blackberry... Phones are a part of fashion these days, look at people in Japan, the phones there are way ahead of ours, people buy new ones monthly there... Lol, the funny part is, in Japan, the iphone doesn't sell even if though they give it away... literally
Woot! Sign me up engadget. As for fixing the economy... I propose that people stop getting loans that they cant afford. I know everyone wants the new iphone and the pre and DSi and the PSP and PS3, but... if you really want it save for it! Gadgets aint cheap, but that dont mean we have to put ourselves in debt over them!
But, will it blend?
Who uses the chat pad? I thought that is what the headsets are for? (I dont have a 360, but I often use my roommates, and end up only using the headset if anything for communications)
Lol, this is probably the funniest thing I have seen.

Even Apple's own "Apple branded" HDMI cable is cheaper than Monster... Despite that I dont have the bank for a Mac, I will trust Apple any day over Monster... When something becomes more expensive than Apple, who is known for product build quality and also being RELATIVELY more expensive than the competition, you know something is wrong
Wow, while good in theory, this commercial is not without a few flaws. The problem with windows computers is build quality, which is associated with manufacturers, not necessarily microsoft. My boss has a 3000$ business HP, which BSOD's quite often, even after the on-site hp tech repairs it...Nothing against HP's, but it happens.

2nd thing, a few people on this board noticed this already, but, how many people are ganna know what those specs mean, they just want something to get their stuff done. This goes for mac and pc users. Average users wont know the diff between the different wireless bands. My university uses 802.1X wireless... most of the students have no idea what that means, they just want to connect and be on their way...
This the message that the commercial encompasses, as she said, she wants something affordable as well, unfortunately/fortunately, mac isnt always the case...
i still fail to see any probs with these versions, all you have to do is read about what they are. This isn't rocket science, its common sense. There are several editions of Vista I admit:

Vista Home Basic
Vista Home Premium
Vista Business
Vista Enterprise
Vista Ultimate

At the consumer level, you jus ask yourself, what do u want? For a home user, theres only 3 versions to pick: basic, premium, ultimate. Jus think about what you want... Personally, I am writin this on a Vista Business Machine, and it hasn't crashed once or gotten one BSOD since the day I installed it, and the machine is custom built by me... Like previous posters said, the only reason business and enterprise exist are for their respective markets, and they have tools those people can use specifically.
Yes, Yes it does, first thought that came to mind was Devil may Cry 4 cause of Nero's sword being similar LOLz
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
