when comparing similar plans that require data. blackberries need a data plan the pixi will need a data plan.. you will PAY on AVERAGE 30 dollars more with verizon than you do with sprint. go check for your self, go to sprint and check out there simply everything 450 plan it costs 69.99 now go to verizon and get a plan similar to it, unlimited text, unlimited data, gps, tv. now you will see what i mean when i say 30 dollars extra for wifi pixi i dont think so.
30$ extra for data compared to sprint just to have a WIFI pixi, i dont think so. to top that verizons new 350$ ETF for a Pixi!!!! that's a double wammi. i rather stick with Sprint. the new Tour and Curve 2 are coming soon and will have WIFI, i will give my hard earned money to Sprint.
would i switch for a WIFI pixi? not to verizon no way... why you ask hmmm that extra 30 bucks a month it will cost me... i think a WIFI less pixi with sprint and a cheaper plan would suit me fine. Wifi is not worth an extra 30 bucks with verizon, sprint 3G is plenty fast enough.
people read the article, they cant do this with out consent from authorities, plus all major carriers do this anyway. here is where it explains it. Stop hating on Sprint Jeez.

"In all cases we require a valid legal request appropriate for the circumstances, meaning the request must be accompanied by either a subpoena, court order or customer consent." Sprint is not alone in this practice. All wireless carriers share customer information with law enforcement agencies when the need is mandated.
The new PSP is bad Arsssss !!!!
first thing i noticed was that thing is HUGE!!!!! yuck. i mean come on, are we lugging around a phone or a TV here.
Sprint data is the best, i am definitely entering this one.
that phone is HUGE!!!! bigger than them brick looking satellite phones. sure its an awesome phone but who will lug that thing around. not me for sure.
Maybe Sprint and Palm dont want another Storm fiasco.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
