@XChrisX That's pretty much what it is. More specifically it seems (according to Josh T. Nilay & Paul Engadget Podcast) that it's the handoff from Edge to 3g that affects the iPhone the most. AT&T in my area is okay, Verizon's network is better, but I'm not going to get all self-entitled, I deserve a better network. People say things "They oughtta do such and such" and most of the time aren't being realistic. Either that or they're just whining, or jumping on a bandwagon.
@Elranzer
I've heard "iPhone OS" referred to as "Mobile OSX" before, but what I meant was, it would be nice if you could run iPhone OS on a Kirf for app purposes. I am more of an Great Device fanboy than anything else, I understand the difference Between desktop OS's and mobile one's.
Too bad you can't load Mobile OSX on one of these. If only that were possible...

I need a new bluetooth jaw. this regular marrow one just doesn't cut the mustard. :)
If the build quality on this is good this is def my next phone. If it's really just a Neo Touch with a cap screen then it is super thin 3.5 mil headphone jack, and 1ghz snapdragon. OOOOH, can't wait. It'll be my G1Killer.:) I'll have to decommission my G1 it looks haggard.:)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
