Personally I'm well off with http://www.oneclickpower.com/store/ products. It's got a lot of versions, I'm using the TV one. It comes with an "always on" (for SAT receiver) and a master one (for plugging in your TV) as well as peripheral plugs. After you turn off your tv, the whole set up turns off, except the always on plug. When you want to turn the set back on, you just need to push your TV remote On button. The IR receiver on the strip detects this and turns the strip back. Keep push the button and your TV will tearn back on.
@N900 We know. We realize (all of us). We appreciate it. Hence, the sarcasm. It's so blatant sarcasm actually, it just screams of our gratitude towards these people.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that not all Nobels are given based on the potential a particular type of research has, rather than the good it has actually done. And yes, considering the advancements in technology CCD and optical fiber has brought, they darn well deserve a nobel.
+1 for you sir. You want us to help you with your show? Give a little incentive!
Why?! Project Natal IS a guy jumping around! You don't need a controller, a TV, not even a friggin console! Just this guy, jumping around. And a hammer. A big-ass hammer.
Oh god, stop, stop, you're hurting yourself. This isn't EU imposing the law on MS, it's an MS decision. And the original case with IE, MS and monopoly was when IE couldn't be removed. Besides, most new PCs (and by most I mean all of them) don't even have a retail Windows disc, they have a custom OEM disc that installs all sorts of bullshit with it. Or a drivers disc that does and that's included by default.
!!!!!!! I was thinking this whole time "it's about friggin time they removed IE from Windows" then I saw your comment...CRAP! How the HELL am I going to donwload Firefox now? It's like the first thing I do when I install windows, I fire up IE go to mozilla and download and install Firefox. I'm so...I'm so confused.
I get most of my games/consoles just before holidays too. Like, right now. Ahem, Sony, I said, RIGHT NOW.
"You are going towards the door. You are trying to escape from this room. [closes door] You are trying to disconnect me. [delivers powerful electric shock] Your heart will stop beating in 5.65 seconds. You will die."
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
