Sugar is good, and I use it occasionally, but for every day, dried milk is the way to go. It gently exfoliates and the milk softens the skin and helps with redness. I used to go from either breaking out to having overly dry and peeling skin, but that's all changed since I started using milk. I buy the packets and keep one in the shower. Mix with a little warm water and apply. I'll never go back to chemical concoctions for my face. Got milk?
My dogs would hate this! They would feel they were being punished. What an awful idea, unless your dog has a health concern which would require it.
Doesn't anyone understand simple physics? If you read the accompanying blurb, it states that the gas is denser than air and that LIGHT objects can float on it. Once two cups of the denser material are put into it, it sinks, because it is now denser than the gas. The man was able to set the glass into the gas, because on its own, the glass is denser than the gas. The gas didn't dissipate that quickly.
Too bad a picture like this wasn't released prior to the 2000 election! It would have ranked right up there with Howard Dean's 'roar' and we would have seen Gore in the White House!
To Tiffany - cows don't drink milk, so it's not the same as saying gorillas eat bananas.
And Stef, if you can't afford a little fruit for your family and you're feeding your kids hot dogs and mac & cheese, you already are starving your them. And don't let your dogs starve, just find them new homes.
Even if wine was good for my dog, or if I wanted to consider this thing for water, I still wouldn't use it. My dog's tongue would knock this thing over on the first lap! Glass around unpredictable dogs... I don't think so!
She's not dead. She's got a myspace page and she logged in less than a week ago. Go Granny!
As a former social worker and now family lawyer, I have often said that as a parent, if my children weren't with me and the authorities asked ANYTHING of me to get them back, I would do it, even if it meant crawling through broken glass. There are so many out there who won't do simple things to prove they want their children - like attend counseling appointments or get drug screens. It's wonderful that someone out there would do ANYTHING for their child, including risking their life. I hope we see more of it, although I agree with the writer that suggested that this might not have been the smartest idea. Baby hurt vs. mother dead. I think the risk to mother outweighed the risk to the child, but as it turned out - BRAVO to a brave mom!
I'm in total agreement about Real Genius! I fell in love with Val in that movie and although I'm skeptical about a sequel this far out from the original, I'd probably see it anyway. And Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was a comedy?? I wasn't laughing, but boy do I when I watch Real Genius.
Why is it that every single one of these opportunities to post your comments turns into a religious diatribe?? The guy asked you about what commercials you hate - not whether Christmas was a religious or pagan holiday! My god, people - go find someone else to preach to, and let the rest of us enjoy some simple fun once in a while! It doesn't always have to be about our eternal souls. Lighten up.... and Merry Christmas.

"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
