Engadgetmobile is NOT the mobile version of Engadget.com.
In other words, this is not Engadget fit to be seen on mobile phones, this is Engadget, with only articles ABOUT mobile phones.
What, no mention of the MyTouch? I know it has no Sense, so it's like the Cinderella step-sibling, but I think it should've been mentioned.
OK.. someone needs to write a Jailbreak app with that unlock screen, PRONTO!
The one thing I miss from my old dumbphone is instant access to the keypad.. My iPhone is a PHONE, first and foremost, and I hate having to go through so many layers in order to make a phone call.
So basically, after 9 years of Microsoft failing to make Windows run on mobiles, we ended up having to make a mobile that runs Windows...
FAIL! I can get unlimited everything from Sprint for $69 bucks. Granted, voice is unlimited only for mobile, but I don't think that's a real setback for non-business users anyway.

I was really excited for this, T-Mo.. way to let me down.
T-Mobile Blackberries have been UMA (voice calling over Wi-Fi) capable for ages. They are saying that this is the first 3G Blackberry to do so, which is different.
Meh.. James Bond was doing that exact same thing back in '97.
And with a lot more style =P

This might've worked if they hadn't marketed it as a smartphone.
Knock the mandatory data plan and it starts to look much better.
Good job. Just to expand a bit, on the first video he specifies that the expansion port is a MicroSD slot.

Now, he DOES say that, while pointing with his finger at the space right next to the SIM card; however, if you look closely, the phone back (which looks identical to this: http://blogpalmpre.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/palm-pre-gsm-side-by-side.jpg) has silkscreened illustrations on how to remove the battery and the SIM card. These are also numbered (1) and (2). Not only can't I see any slot in that phone, you would think that Palm would have added an illustration on how to add/remove the MicroSD card as well... maybe #(3)?? If anything, for the sake of consistency.
"But sir, how about this beautiful Samsung touchscreen phone, it costs half as much, and < a href=http://www.precentral.net/palm-confirms-no-visual-voicemail-pre"">unlike the Pre it has Visual Voicemail to boot!"
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
