Why is this a big deal? If you go to YouTube and search for "pizza machine" you find a handful of other vending machines that do the EXACT SAME THING. Apparently, there is nothing new about this concept.
Eh, plastic is good fiber. No?
I bought this phone, it's a piece of crap.

Virgin Mobile has a serious lack of cool, affordable phones. They either have phones that are too expensive and do too much (like the Slider or the Wild Card) or they have cheap, ugly phones. I thought maybe the Flare was going to finally be what Virgin Mobile was missing. Turns out, it's not.

This is lightweight, cheap plastic. The buttons actually squeak when you press them because they are all plastic. Furthermore, that external display is only on when you press a button on the side of the phone or the phone is ringing. The rest of the time, the outside is dark. I don't know about you, but I like being able to use my phone to check time just by looking at it.

It is nice that the external display is in bold, large text and a color display. And the phone is sleek and black, unlike all those ugly-as-hell white and red phones Virgin Mobile keeps selling, but this thing just isn't priced right.

Wait a few months for this thing to drop down to $10 and it will be worth it. Paying $30 is completely unreasonable. In the meantime, here's hoping Virgin Mobile comes out with some nice study phones that look cool too and are functional. This Flare just looks way better on the website than it feels in your hand.
I agree with Stacy. This kid was not exactly an up-and-coming playwright...
15. If Mel was intoxicated then he may have said some things he shouldn't have but, Mel Gibson has done so much in his life to entertain that he should be able to make a mistake or use poor judgement. Get off your high horses. Leave Mel alone, he is and has been an asset to us.

????? Poor judgement? The man hates Jews. You don't get drunk and go on a tirades about hating Jews unless you hate Jews. No one should get a pass for being a disgusting bigot. Someone getting drunk and driving is poor judgement -- it's a bad decision. Hating people is not a snap decision, it's an attitude and a mental state that carried around with you all the time, sober or not... and it's disgusting mental state at that. Don't be retarded.
"13. Absolutely amazing. A totally undocumented story that now will be believed by every moron in this country. Even when (or if) it is disproved, the man will always be perceived as a raving lunatic. If it turns out to be untrue, I hope he sues this idiotic site."

Um. Gibson admitted he made those comments. Notice the part where he says he said things he does "believe to be true" (which is a lie). If he hadn't said those things, he would've made a public statement that he didn't say them and the sheriff's department is lying. But considering the entire police force probably heard him freaking out, it would be hard to say it's a lie. The police report is evidence right there, idiot. Do you hate Jewish people too? Go masturbate to Passion Of The Christ a little more, okay?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
