Sprint requires the $39.95 DUNS data plan with all Blackberry phones. The Centro (and other EV-DO Sprint phones)can be had with the $15 unlimited data plan or no data plan at all. A compelling reason to go with the non-Blackberry phone.
"touchscreens are yesterdays technology"

I suppose that means the iPhone is obsolete...
The keyboard is actually quite usable, as shown on this video on Brighthand:

I went to the Sprint store to replace my beloved Treo 650 with the Centro, only to discover that the phone doesn't drop until the 14th. A Sprint rep coaxed me into trying a Moto Q as an interim phone until the Centro arrived. The Q is a poorly designed, flimsy piece of junk with zero battery life. Motorola couldn't even center the screen on the device. Additionally, the Windows Mobile OS is complex, slow, and freezes frequently; the "aging" Palm OS is simple, snappy, and can be easily navigated with one hand.

I'm counting the minutes until my Centro arrives...
It seems to me that a lot of people are dogpiling on Palm right now, bashing just for the sake of bashing. The reality is that, feature-for-feature, the latest Palm devices are every bit as good—and in many ways superior—to other smartphones on the market.

Other than it's age, what's wrong with the Palm OS? I've owned a Treo 650 for 2 years and it's been a perfectly capable smartphone. The ONLY time I've had trouble with the phone is when I installed a buggy 3rd-party app. Multitasking seems to be the only limitation

The Centro appears to have the utility of the 650/680/700/755, plus 3G and a hi-res touchscreen, all wrapped in a much smaller, lighter package. The only complaints I have read are the small keyboard—already dispelled by hands-on use—and it didn't look sexy oh good grief!). I don't worry too much about looks, but IMHO, it looks a heckuva lot nicer than the Q, Dash or Blackjack (all of which are rather drab).

I think I got a brain tumor just looking at it...
Please don't let another poster "upstage" me in this contest :)
Brando has sold these docks for similar devices, including the Treo, for several years. Audio quality is so-so; about what you would expect from a $35 USB-powered speaker system.
This is what the Jeep Liberty should have looked like; and they should have kept the "Cherokee" nameplate as well. It seems like Dodge and Chrysler get all the cool models, while Jeep gets stuck with the blah Grand Cherokee, the "cute" Liberty, and truly hideous Compass. What next, a new Wrangler based on a Town and County minivan?

The DaimlerChrysler board must still hold a grudge against the original Jeep, which helped the good 'ol USA defeat the Third Reich. It's the only viable explanation for the methodical destruction of their strongest brand.
Either the Brit version is markedly different from the Korea/US version, or LG needs to demand a retraction.

I clearly see a micro SD slot on the photo of this phone, yet the CNET UK review of this phone (http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/0,39030107,49278642,00.htm)makes the following statements:

"...it's a shame about the lack of expandable memory"

"...no memory card slot"

"...the lack of external memory means this won't replace your iPod nano."

"If you want to take photos and store MP3s on the Chocolate phone you're going to need lots of memory and, as previously stated, you get 128MB of internal storage space. Unfortunately, that's it for memory space and unless you're happy with around 20 to 30 songs and a few photos on your phone, you're out of luck as there's no expandable memory card slot."

Can someone clarify?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
