This is a frivolous lawsuit At&T is looking to gain "free" money. This should be thrown out of court, fine AT&T for filing a frivolous lawsuit. Use AT&T to set an example to ALL the US Telcoms be careful when filing lawsuits.
This is a very nice looking phone! People on here really think the G1 looks better? Seriously? HTC's G1 is a hideously repulsive device. I've seen it, handled it, no thanks! Looks and feels like a Fisher Price phone.
Now the mytouch3G, different story. LOVE the new look! THAT should have been the G1 but instead they got, that thing they call a smartphone.
Its too early for anyone to know who will get this. This is probably go on both networks. Both NEED this type of phone. T-Mobile is has the mytouch3G, AT&T has the 3GS so BOTH Sprint & VZW NEED the TG01. Sprint has the Palm Pre but the rumored high return rate will not do any good to them. They need to keep pumping up the device line up.
Well as for VZW, when you VZW Corp & VOD has your owners, you can definitely add this to their line up. Money is not a problem, especially when VOD is the 2nd largest world operator behind China Unicom.
Just curious here. If someone familiar with Europes Mobile Carriers can answer a question I have. Maybe Engadget can help too.
Here in the US a new phone like this would cost about $149.99 or so on a 2yr, 24 month contract. So how are these carriers able to sell this phone or these type of new phones for either low euros or free? Same thing when the Storm hit Vodafone. I saw it for Free in the first month it was released.
I think all this Apple & Verizon talk is like what they do in sports, to push the price up. I am sure AT&T knows Apple is talking to Verizon and AT&T will top whatever offer Verizon gives Apple.
To me, the iPhone is not going anywhere. The iPhone is not for everyone.
Also I don't think anyone knows what is going on at AT&T or Verizon unless you are on the board of directors for both companies. Rumors on around water cooler or coffee machine don't count as knowing FOR SURE what's happening.
BTW, in my area, all 4 carriers have good coverage, along with 3G coverage as well.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"

How about T-Mobile T-Mobile making free N/W starting at @6pm. That along with EM & EM+ is a decent start.
