FallenCow, please actually EDUCATE yourself before you say that rotaries have oil consumption 'problems'. They had a pump for the oil that mixes it with the gasoline .. it is necessary for proper lubrication. It is a metered amount of oil consumed. It is necessary, and if they didn't mix it in themselves they'd have to rely on fat, lazy americans adding oil every time they get gas --and we all know that would never happen.
p.s. that wheel/tire combo is 34.3 pounds.. :)

diesel-electric hybrid FTW!
ROFL you said "lightweight".. the only reason they needed to be turbo is because of how heavy they were, and then the only reason they needed a way to put the power to the ground in a controllable fashion.

love the car though.. it just has a couple shortcomings that everyone seems to forget about. I know I'd forget about them too if I could have that car.

Gotta love the 15 year japanese importation rule in Canada. I'd have this and a Mazda AZ1 Autozam if I could :'(
If you put your co-workers through the hell of listening to that blasphemy you call music while they are trying to _work_, you should be fired. HEADPHONES are around for a very good reason. Pick up some Grados and call it a day.

I was just about to say "why the hell would they use SATA and not SAS?".. but then I realized that they are using UATA and not SCSI.. ugh
you sure they're going to do SATA (which isn't really supported as enterprise level at all yet) and not SAS?
If they make this Ecsta DX as pictured (a Kumho Ecsta MX) then I'd be willing to buy it just for the fun factor if it wasn't too much more expensive. The original asking price of a thousand dollars a tire was a bit steep.

The colored smoke Ecsta MX tires are a bit more reasonable of a concept but still ridiculously expensive.

silly korean tire companies trying out all sorts of weird ideas/concept haha.
They're both Li-Ion.. we're at the limit for capacity of Li-Ion batteries, and leave it to Sony to show us what happens when you try to eek out just a little bit more power to one-up your compoetitors...

Just for an added safety measure I'm pulling my SIM from my Sony Ericsson K750i and slapping it back in my Nokia until it is clear that it was not a Sony battery to blame here.
yeah that's funny, I've never heard my Wii make noise while playing...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
