The 5GB data cap IS ONLY FOR TETHERING! How many times do we go through this?! You have unlimited data ON the phone/smartphone, but tethering has a 5GB cap.
It's Walmart, what do you expect? "Save Money, Live Better! walmart" or "Always LOW Prices, Always!"
It's not an outage. It's down because it's being updated. They are also working on a new My Verizon thing.
Sprint has only said they will get the Tour 2 along with Verizon (Essex). They have not said anything about the Curve 2. Sprint never even launched the Pearl Flip (Pearl 2 you could say). Our store has sold tons of those.
1) Sprint doesn't roam on all of Verizons netowrk.
2) When you roam, everything is caped and you do not get Mobile to Mobile and all. Mobile to Mobile will be taken from your anytime mins. If yo go over your data cap you will be charged for it.
3) You will not get 3G roaming off Verizon.
4) Sometimes you won't get any data off Verizon, only voice and text.
Verizon is bringing 15 new phones (mostly smartphone) from the start of the Storm 2 all the way to December.
Do it. I have done a test side by side with the Sprint Hero and Verizon Eris, and the Eris is faster it seems. And you won't be the only one doing this. I have had Sprint customers coming in my store asking us when it will be out because Sprints network is horrible, they roam or cant get service (NO, SPRINT DOES NOT ROAM ON VERIZONS NETWORK IN ALL PLACES!) And they wasnt 3G where ever they go.
It will take 2 weeks, 3 at the most to get the MIR back.
Motorola Droid.

HD2 will be on T-Mobile, maybe, and a good phone on a not so good network is a paper weight.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
