A design from a company other that HTC is welcome. A little competition will be good. Its been long enough since 3GSM that the build quality may have improved.
Its nice to see more designs that are comming from sources other than HTC, a little competition will be great for the consumers.

The new button placement is nice, and the spec sound great. However, should we wonder if this device is destined to be a stopgap until newer more inovative devices come along?
Can't wait to see how many people get one of these awesome phones.
this one is going to be popular.
Packaging aside, the phone is simply awesome.
Great to see the amount of people that already love the Q!
The RIM BlackBerry is a great device, but can it play music? Does it support Bluetooth Stereo Headsets? Does it sync with Microsoft Exchange out of the box? How many third party applications are avaiable for it? Does it have voice recognition? Does it have a camera for pics and video? Can it record voice notes? Does it have EVDO? And last but not least, is it as sleek and slick as the Moto Q?
Verizon sure has been getting the good exclusives lately.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
