I really like the size of this over the Kindle, which we still can't get in the UK.

The reason I like this is that personally, I want a book READER (e.g. no keyboard). If amazon offered a screen only with a few buttons, i'm sure quite a few people would be all over it.

A conspiracy to do what, sell more tv's... in the same way that colour TV did, or that it's causing people to *gasp* be able to sell off the free space generated?
*bzzzt* wrong, i'm afraid. The e63 has 3G but NOT HSDPA.
Oh, that's nice of them.

I would have thought returns will be in single digit numbers, because everyone's advising people to keep hold of the device as any faults will 'be fixed in a later software update'.

As far as I remember, most end users who ended up with a blackberry storm (from my point, working on a mobile support desk anyway) never even installed the software on their PC, let alone even used a blackberry before.

The process itself is simple enough, but the end users don't seem to get how to do it, until someone explains it to them.
Our Vodafone storms have certainly had more returns for updates than any other handset I can remember.
It's funny actually. I've had 4 MacBooks (thankfully this one's perfect)
and 3 iBooks with countless parts repaired, etc.. Apple certainly never gave me anything when I was without my iBook for upto 3 weeks at a time and it kept failing too. And then I needed it for university, and still haven't given me anything to date other than a sorry for all that. They've improved recently as with the MacBook, I got a free upgrade to the black model!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
