"work very closely with carriers in full partnership"....Damn. Seems like an extremely closed system. Are they working on an unbranded version of this? Carrier-ware seems to bring the worst in all phones.
Date: December 21st, 2012. Time: 10am. "Here comes the big colli.........." .... ... .. .
So you're willing to be the cow being led to the slaughterhouse by AT&T? You wouldn't do it because you ain't got the balls to fight the status quo. You said it yourself that you disagree with how carriers charge for data. Why wait for them to magically grow a conscience and change when you can do something about it NOW? COWARD!

So you're willing to be the cow following the rest to the slaughterhouse? You like to get fu**ed in the a** by your carrier? You said it yourself that you don't agree with how carriers charge for data. Why wait for them to change when you can do it yourself now? Oh, but you wouldn't do it because you ain't got the balls to fight the status quo. Coward!
I agree. I remember debranding my SE Z750a to the original Z750i firmware. It re-activated the GPS module and other options locked by the AT&T firmware. Runs WAY faster and ended up becoming more stable. Buy your phones unbranded, folks! You'd be better off.
WWWWWTTTTTTTTFFFFFFF?????!!!!!! Somebody tell Daniel Mauritzson to STFU then shoot his arrogant a**! SE is hemorrhaging blood and money they can't afford to release stupid niche phones like these! GOD DAMMIT! An executive shake up and corporate enema is sorely needed for Sony Ericsson.
Don't care much for this phone. But I wanna know how the hell this Eldar guy gets his phones? I mean, once a new and upcoming phone is announce, he somehow manages to get a pre-production model for a full review/preview.
"I don't have any details at the moment...." Real convenient excuse there buddy. I've been hearing that type of threat for years..."Oooh they're gonna get you for breaking TOS." Yeah, I'd like to see AT&T actually try to enforce their own regulations. AT&T's data hounds are toothless dogs. 2 years and I'm logging over 7GB per month on my tethered laptop. I've yet to get a single threatening email or text message from them. Plus, there's no freakin' way they can prove I'm tethering. Got any details on that?
Crap....I meant: "Why don't you just learn a thing or two......." Not "Who"
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
