Taiwan is a part of China however they act independantly. No use being in denial...
you guys, Nintendo isn't at fault with pricing in the UK, blame the damn government and the 17.5% VAT

PLUS it's going to rise to about 25% in the future.

That's why we're all poor, tax on food, tax on gadgets, tax on living, screw this.
It's kind of funny to see some of the comments.

$250 dollars is a great price. That's around the price of a PSP!

What's more, people are like $250! No that's too much! I'll get a PS3 (Which is like double the price).

Also, to those complaining about 1 wii-mote, umm... since when did you see most consoles come with more than one controller.

For all that they include for free, I'm happy.
It would be nice if the www.esato.com was mentioned since they had the exclusive.
looks like the Gillete fusion logo
Engadget is just another American website, what do you expect? It posts BS all the time.
LOL this is just measuring weight, not transfering Bank details. British MP's need to relax and stop thinking every european country is there just to spy on them.
dudes the date was known a great while back.

Go to www.widgx.net and it shows August 4th and the shipping date.

Widgx comparison is almost never wrong and usually has the dates.

They say the D900 is around August 3rd as well.
you should at least mention http://www.esato.com or http://www.widgx.com since those were the two sites that had the exclusive (you can even see esato's watermark on it)
@stephen, I wouldn't.

and I can guarantee you that the Canary, (if it wasn't with that phone), will be using the new UI.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
