I've been using OpenDNS as my content filter. Gets some people upset that are visiting but I just don't want any of porn on my network. This seems to be a nice portal way of blocking the content but one can easily have a install chrome/etc, use IE, or portable version of firefox.
I hope the reason you wouldn't want the following is for cost and not complity: fast proccesor, wireless n and longer batter(?!). $35 for a much battery is a no brainer for me so i assume THATs for cost.
agreed, that's the main reason i'm going with another bluetooth mouse or the magical logitech mouse that works on glass.
yea, i don't know how long i'm gonna wait. maybe till next year. They need someway to renew interest in it then. Repackaging seems the best way.
I never really thought of the idea of value and steam having there own interest till i saw the original quote.
As soon as i heard it, i though how the steam client isn't available on mac, while a number of the games sold on it is avaible for the mac (EA, Activation, 2k Games an Ubisoft all have mac games). I never understood that.
I'm not asking for porting Source. I'm asking for the ablitiies to play games on my mac, see what my friends are doing w/o needing 3rd party software.
But asking value and steam to spilt up, is asking Apple to spit itunes off or better yet, let itunes sync with none i-Devices.
while i don't have my ipod touch to test this out, I'm greatly impressed with the attempt. Even if it's "fail", give them some credit for making this work around and not calling it awful. Sure it's not perfect but it's more of a hack then a true fix for that lack of offline notification for apps.
over kill was the original video that they talked about in the beginning of the video. Those guys in this video seems like douche bags, honestly. Just trying to make a buck. Pixel Corps at least tried something that works but know it's a bit much (look at the title).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
