Oh you know Apple will remain alone in their stance. Luckily, Palm and Blackberry have already made the move. We are waiting on HTC next
it looks like my phone and my toaster had a baby and it died, then sony ericsson painted him blue and stuck it on the market!
thanks engadget and sierra wireless.... SHAZAM!
i love my instinct (M800) i hope this phone is all of that and more... especially the two batteries, that sold me!
Seriously if you live in Baltimore you need Sprint. They tested their 4G network there and have "overkill" of coverage in that area. now granted they don't have a 4G phone on the market (wait a couple months and they will) but Sprint will work for you.
Verizon nickels and dimes customers beyond just their regular rate plan. I am a multi network dealer (meaning i sell sprint and t-mobile and ATT and Verizon) and the number one complaint i hear is that a Verizon customer's bill is never the same. They are always "nickeling and diming" customers any which way they can, while someone from sprint sees the same bill every month.
IDEN isn't as bad as it use to be. Because of Boost Mobile's new $50 unlimited plan they did a $8 million upgrade of the IDEN network so text messaging will run MUCH smoother as well as voice and data
Not only has my iphone taken over a cell tower but i think it has fallen in love with my toaster. Don't worry though, i'll invite Steve Jobs to the wedding.
Palm needs to develop some software of their own. they can't just keep ripping off Apple's... but while they are developing their own software i suppose using Apple's isn't too bad. Props to Palm... level the playing field!
well it was a fun ride while we have it. hopefully the door will get opened again. Perhaps Apple is starting to feel slightly threatened by these other devices
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
