Sigh for all you youngsters out there who think Verizon will buy up AT&T I have sad news. It will never happen. AT&T was forced in 1984 to sell off the section many of you know as Verizon. The reason for this being is because AT&T was a monopoly and owned basically any thing to do with phone service, from land lines, to internet, to the prototype cell phones. The government wont allow it to go that far again.

As for this whole argument over the maps, I believe it was a smart move on Verizons part to play out the ads like they have, in reality they are true but they imply things that arnt which should put them in the clear with this lawsuit. The thing people need o remember is the only real difference between 3G and 2G is 2G is circuit-switched, but 3G is packet-switched.
Well the Japanese have done it again, made another mechanical thing to make us Americans lazier. The only problem is they forgot one major feature. The average American is OBESE, how the hell is that thing gonna be able to pick up a 300 lb man or women ?!?! thats all I gotta say ^_^
It all depends on what you want. The nokia N97 will probably be a little more exspensive in the long hall because HTC usually brings down its prices fairly quick. Now for the pros and cons of the phones, well more so just the different pros. The touch pro has a slightly bigger screen and is also much clearer than nokias, even though nokia also puts other phones like the iphones screen to shame so it doesnt mean its terrible just not as good. Also Nokia makes all of its phones use nokia music which is really annoying in my mind unless they have changed it recently. Where as HTC is compatible with media player and itunes. The major bonus in my mind though is the nokia memory, I dont think the touch pro memory is official but the specs for the N97 say that it has 64 G, I dont care how you look at it thats a ton of memory and I highly odubt the touch pro wil have that much. Besides that every thing else is fairly similar. Both have very nice keyboards and screens that can tilt up, I am unsure if you HAVE to tilt the screen up or not in order for it to stay, also I am currently leaning toward N97 just because I have AT&T and would rather buy the N97 unlocked then the t-pro unlocked. Now if they come out with a Fuze 2 (also known as touch pro2) for AT&T then I will buy it up in a heart beat on contract. We shall see though what Q2 and Q3 of this year hold, if I may be so bold I would put money on the fact that some other really nice phones are around the corner because of all the companies trying to scoop up customers in this recession.
is it possible to get the side kick on AT&T. I mean if I buy one off ebay or some thing and just put my phone card in. Or do I need to try and find one unlocked in order to use it. Also would it work ok if I used it on some thing besides T-Mobile...
so if there is a touch pro 2 hittin the market soon does that mean they will make a fuze 2? Because I have AT&T and im not switching any time soon because im still on my parents plan and I dont have the money on my college budget to get my own plan. Does any one know if a Fuze 2 is imenant??
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
