the name iBook will stay on the new model, just like iMac stayed on the intel iMac. apple is just renaming their pro line, since there's no more "Power" as the powerpc chip is no longer being used. the Power Macs will be renamed Mac Pro, to match MacBook Pro, and the consumer line will remain iMac and iBook.
ironic that the company that makes the phones with the worst interface is installing fung shui on them. fix the address book and menus first, motorola!
I actually loved this mac. I used it as my primary computer from 1998-2001 and it was great. the sound system by bose was especially awesome. everyone who saw it was amazed by its design, and it's really groundbreaking to this day. It's sitting in my garage in its box right now. I still use the leather CD case that it came with. I even still have the gold CD-ROMs that it came with.
last day! wow! i entered 30 days straight. amazing!
I dont even use verizon!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
