@Backlin

I'm sure that if they were to offer this system at $650, you'd still be squawking the 'it's too much' rant
Happy Birhtday... keep the new a comin!
putting a pin through the wire shouldn't cause it to stop working as each wire in the cable will actually be a thin strip
@Barstad:

that device only has a single USB port for $9.99 so it really is much less of a deal than the Belkin device.
3x110 outlets + 2xUSB ports for $25 or 1xUSB port for $9.99.

I'd spend the extra coupla bucks for a much better product.
the kitchen might be large but it has no space to prepare food in. must only be used to sit around in the morning and eat cereal.
make sure you include the word yet when you make this statement. I am sure at some point they would add that functionality or someone in the open-source world will.
in 25 years we should be able to teleport to any destination. No need for aircraft.
they do make an internal cassette player, so I'd think it is totally feasable to be a tape player.
Interesting thought. Why don't you give it a shot and provide details and video of your progress?
1. Resolution?
2. Size?
3. Other models?
4. When does it ship?
5. How much will it cost?
6. How much would a similar setup cost if done with (a) projector(s)?

a quick google search would provide you with most, if not all, of the information you are asking for.

1. 2880x900
2. size of two 24 inch LCD Panels
3. first of it's kind
4. second half 2008
5. between a KIA and a 17" LCD Panel
6. all depends on the equipment you buy, prolly around $1500-2500

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
