It is 329£ not 399£. It might be 399€ though in the rest of europe
Hp mini 704 win xp 1gb 60gb hd atom n270 for 329£ pre order from hp themselves with 4 weeks lead time. Weak specs for the price but a really good looking machine. No mention of HSDPA modem built in either.
Sorry i feel stupid now. It is 40£, the combi 35 needs a W&W add on so I do not get it why go for that plan...? Tmob makes no sense on this one.
Actually the contract is 18 months and the phone can be had for free from 35£ or around 55$. Still quite expensive as uk price plans go.
I never cared for the video mode on digicams and this time it is no exception. Especially given that Autofocus does not work with video - ie you have to manually focus all the time especially if you want to get a bit creative with shallow DoF.

Having said that that looks like a fantastic piece of kit and when prices come a little down it is the replacement of my D40 :)
280£???? 550$ for a 60GB 5" player???? They have to be jocking right?
It is available now on Orange for 40$ a month on an 18 month contract and you have to pay 200$ for the handset. I am sure if you bargain a little bit you would get it for free :)

I think the main reason is that Canon does not really have anything between the 40D and the full frame 5D. It makes no sense to compare the DX sensor D300 with a full frame sensor camera. So they compare it to the closest that Canon currently has at their line up and that so happens to be the 40D.

Also when the 40D came out it did cost very close to what the D300 costs now, it was regarded mostly as a semi-pro rather than a high end consumer DSLR. However it is now quite old and cannot compete with the D300 in features/performance so its price has dropped dramatically.

Canon currently is being spanked by Nikon left right and centre as I see it. They have to act fast and decisively if they are going to compete seriously.

It has nothing like the uber cheap D40, the new 1000D only barely beats the D60, the 450D is too expensive and competes with the D80 which is a better camera save for the not so brilliant high ISO performance, the 40D will have no place at all once the D90 arrives, there is nothing to compete with the D300, the 5D is too old to even barely come close to the D700 and at the very top the D3 is doing amazingly well.
Hm maybe I should give it a shot although I am not sure I will like the keyboard feel, my previous logitechs were a very mixed bag in that respect.

I loved the white apple keyboard feel but after 3 of them failing on me in less than 13 monhs (thanks john lewis for exchange them every single time) I ended up getting a refund. I can't say I like the new ones nearly as much so I am on the lookout for a different keyboard.
I am no barista but I'll take my Vivi and Mazzer Mini with freshly roasted coffee.

Of course I have tasted coffee from the Senseo and it is extremely easy to use and clean and it beats stuff like instant and drip coffee hands down but that is about it.

That looks uber ugly btw...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
