Umm...why are the icons all white again? I thought the press image showed that the icons were getting a splash of color, which I think they really need imho.
@ coxis_scratcher: if you can't speak i tend to think your computer being slow "is a snail" ... may, just maybe, not be apple's fault.

unix has multitask just as good, if not better, than any modern windows machine. just because you have old hardware and operator headspace doesn't mean apple will always be good. you need to give a little to get a lot and it sounds like you are looking for complete handouts.
you have this story a little wrong:...it wasn't just landline to voip, it was also call waiting and another verizon patent. Vonage also hasn't said they are working on another method because they "still think they haven't infringed on any patents"...after the ebay situation it has become much harder to show patent infringement and get an injunction.

verizon should just buy up Vonage.
well, check your about window in itunes, apple licensed it from thomson and Fraunhofer....so, they look like they are more in the clear than microsoft...
wow, you'd be crazy to get a pos 700wx when this is an option...sigh rim, release the damn phone already
as someone who lives in the Verizon Boston EVDO network. YAHOO! However, please lets see an updated Rev. A treo to go along with this update when you get the 700WX on your network.
too bad you guys made some mistakes in this article. It only pertains to New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont where FiOS is not deployed. The 50mbps package also is only in Massachusetts and RI...

Verizon would not be ready to dump its baby Massachusetts just after it started getting the ball rolling.
yikes..and people through that iTunes 7.0 had big issues. At least people could install it. Thanks for all the screenshots btw. Postings on other websites have show that people can't even get past the initial instal part because it errors out, so consider youself lucky.
well, i installed it on my 700w and its a great app, but it does break one thing. normally you can go through your contacts and instead of pressing mobile or work, you can press text. Now with this installed, it trys to send an email to the user and does not use the new text program. hopefully there is a way to fix that.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
