Apple is losing a lot of steam with the hardcores. They're turning into their old bullying selves, now that they're headed towards the top. It happened 20 years ago (yes, other factors should be considered too) and in this post-Google world, a lot of folks don't have patience for this sort of ego. I'm debating getting a new library system as well, iTunes isn't as powerful as I want when it comes to tracking things and buying music on their store is actually pretty damn stupid.
Don't be too harsh on him, he ain't no middle management. It's probably a early father's day gift from his kids... right?

"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
