My Guess is "Microsoft" maybe they might add a '!' to the logo for a short while, most-likely we may see an end to the 'MSN' name and then something more like "YahooMSN!"
lets see, I attempted an upgrade via Synaptic... that took forever and went poorly. I then tried a complete re-install well that went better but still not much worked the way it was suppose to. I have a dual monitor system which I took many hours to make work under Feisty. Unfortunately, the built-in abilities for dual displays did not work for me on Gusty. Oh well back to Feisty I went. When and if I'll try Gusty again.... I don't know, but for now... Feisty it is.
I've been a Yahoo Mail fan for years, but if they don't re-enable IMAP soon, I may just have to make the move to GMail
ugh... what a topic for me... I've got Ubuntu on my home Desktop, Windows XP on my wife's laptop, MacOSX on my work Laptop, Redhat on my work servers.... so lets see which do I prefer... ALL! They each have there merits and issues... none are perfect... That said, I think MacOSX is as close to perfect as it gets... but Ubuntu... a close second with the leveraging fact that it is Free... Windows, not if I can help it.
I love my 2600, still have it and it still works. I've owned a number of the newer modern game systems, but there was always something nice about the simplicity and joy of playing with the 2600. Happy Birthday
I look forward to leaving it in the box for about 3-4 months while we wait for bug reports/security flaws/and other crashes. Then maybe I'll unbox it and perform the hours of updates, and then I'll start playing.
A quick note, this is not new information, it was setup at the time of purchase. When Access acquired the company "PalmSource" they never acquired the name. Palm, PalmOne, and PalmSource are names owned by Palm. So when Access purchased PalmSoure, they acquired a product not a name.... anyways... as for the linux side of the thing, PalmSource had started down that road before Access swept them up. And yes I agree with the post. I'm a Palm OS fan, I could care less what it is called, just finish the linux version so we can buy it.
Wow! I actually work with this thing.... as for the network comment, work great last year when they flew it into Ophelia.
Well first thanks for answering my email, just wanted to pop in and mention, that I went with a used Treo600 only since all the upcoming devices still won't have wifi. I'll use this till we get a wifi enabled cell phone.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
