The Diamond 2 looks to be one piece of incredible technology. This running windows mobile 6.5 with the TouchFlo 3D interface should be absolutely fantastic. I am anxious to see this phone in the US as soon as possible.
The TG01 is clearly a quality windows mobile device. We are starting to see a ton of really high end smartphones already this summer and they are going to keep coming. This is an exciting time for windows mobile and I am really anxious to see many of these higher end phones in person.
We are seeing the HTC snap running windows mobile everywhere. I think this particular phone will be very appealing to blackberry users because it has very similar features, but the good news is that it has windows mobile.
I think that windows mobile 6.5 on a blackberry device would be a huge help and likely sell very well.
To this point I have not been a huge zune fan, however my interest is now on full alert based on the recent announcement of the zune hd and now the confirmation of the tegra processor. My interest comes from the perspective that I hope many or all of the zune hd technologies make it into windows mobile 7. Let's see what happens!
I have been seeing ads and conversation all over the web for this new HTC Dash windows mobile phone. I am more into the high-end smartphones, but I can see where people that just want to text and email a lot how this would be very appealing to them.
This is definitely the year of new smartphones across the globe. It will be interesting to see how the French take to the new H7 running android. The tech specs are not very exciting, especially when you have got high end windows mobile phones like the touch pro 2, diamond 2, HD, M900, F900 and many others.
This sony x2 running windows mobile 6.5 will be incredible... From what I have read and from people that I have talked to, most all love the x1. The tech upgrades look very good on this phone and I am excited to check this out in person.
I think this is the first of a wave of new windows mobile and smartphones in asia. If China ever really gets rolling with a userbase we will see explosive growth in this mobile smartphone market and the big consumers today like the US will be a second thought to carriers and providers.
Clearly this Omnia II is going to be an interesting play for both windows mobile and the various carriers. This will be a good market test with these incredible features such as the huge screen and the 8 mp camera, not to mention all the other goodies as well.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
