I did and then returned it after I dropped 25+ calls a day on average in Vegas. They switched my pre for a new one and the same thing. Switched to ATT for Iphone and its better (hardware wise) but I still drop about 2-5 calls a day. Sadly T-mobile and my blackberry 8320 was the best service I have had here. The Pre was by far the worse, and that keyboard sucked!
I have the Pre. It was cool at first, but now the phone gets really hot. Its sluggish. Sprint sucks.I am a heavy phone and data user and I dropped 20 calls 2 days ago and I live in Vegas. prob another 15-20 calls today as well. I am returning it tomorrow and going iphone 3gs. I used a unlocked version for the last year. I wouldn't recomend the Pre because of the network. The multi-tasking aspect is really cool and useful.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
