Phone companies charging you for their inadequacy in network infrastructure. Hell why build towers at all now? If a customer is complaining about QoS in their area it is now because they didn't have the money to buy all the "proper" equipment.
Good, I keep turning a lot of people away from the contract carriers to Jitterbug because they want a basic phone. But the commissions for contracts are so much higher. Thanks Sprint for actually creating a basic phone, I'm so tired of hearing "I don't even want a camera".
I don't see how a camera with a sensor size small enough for cellphones could actually record "HD" (what ever that means). Sounds like some up-conversion. Although, since 720p or even 1080p are each very small resolutions, compared to the size of a 5 megapixel image, wouldn't that make any camera sporting anything larger than a 0.9 MP (1280 x 720) sensor capable of using the HD buzzword?
They have been doing this for years on PCs. Using the routing numbers and text recognition software they have nothing to worry about. Anything that doesn't check out the cheque will throw it up for review to a real person.
Furthermore, you do realize that most cheques going through the bank are never looked at, and simply electronically scanned.
"I just switched to Sprint from Verizon about three months ago for the Pre. Then I went for the Hero about a week ago. Now, I miss my hardware keyboard and am thinking about switching to the Moment. I am still able to switch back to Verizon if I want and get the Droid when it arrives. Should I just trade up to the Moment when it comes out, see if I like it, and if not switch to the Droid? Or something else entirely? Help!"
