Yeah, this article makes syncing Things with Dropbox unnecessarily difficult...
It's really easy to sync Things, The Hit List, VoodooPad documents, 1Password keychains etc. using Dropbox:

Wifi performance on the 3GS is greatly reduced if you have bluetooth on. Switching bluetooth off should restore performance.

equinux discovered this whilst testing Live TV: http://bit.ly/uEifs
Twinkle is an iPhone twitter client with built-in location support and I've "met" quite a few people from the hundreds of other twinkle-users nearby through it already.

And it's a fairly obscure app, running on a hacked device that not that many people have to begin with. These sorts of apps will be huge...
I'd lurve to bag me some schwag.
It'll be interesting to see if Apple allows it to be used over 3G. The SDK terms prohibit excessive bandwidth use and this would also compete with Apple selling TV shows on iTunes.
Hmm, not a big fan of the delays when swiping through pictures though....
Fanboyism aside, is anyone really surprised that Samsung (not necessarily known for their software) didn't bust one out of the park with their first multi-touch device? Apple already make web browsers, music players and operating systems - considering how little experience Samsung have, this is probably not a bad first attempt.

Not that I can see why you would buy it though...
After the fiasko of their first attempt, I really don't see the point. Besides - in 2 years cellphones will own the music player market.
To everyone complaining about the nails:

"We got better as we became accustomed to tapping with our fingernails (thumb presses don't work, it's not a capacitive touch screen)."

So it looks like this is a touchscreen that's designed to be used with a stylus... that's why nail taps work better than "finger presses".
I'd guess it fixes permissions on the location the cookies are stored in... that's apparently a bug in 1.1.4.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
