If it is the rumored unlimited calls to ANY other network, that is a HUGE win. At that point the only thing Sprint would be lacking is simultaneous voice and date over a 3G network.
The kid has an interesting case, but it will be hard for him to prove the amount of notes he actually lost. I do hope he wins.
If you have an iPhone you better hope this news is not true. Think about it. You are under contract with ATT. Do you really want to have to sign up to ANOTHER carrier for a different device? If this tablet thing comes to ATT at least you have a chance of them offering it as a slightly discounted combo plan.
If Sprint gets the Hero then it will have two phones (other is the Pre) I would be willing to ditch ATT's expensive phone plans and the iPhone for. Too bad for Sprint I won't. Why not? Simple, I need to have VOICE and DATA on my smart phone at the same time. Sprint's 3G network does not allow for this. ATT's does. Fix this Sprint or you will never have me on your network.
Can't wait. If this comes to ATT I may switch from my iPhone 3G to it.
So is it confirmed the Hero is NOT coming to TMobile in the USA?
I kinda wish they had done something different to the case. I liked the idea of the non-shinny back that was floating around. Something to let people know you have the new model.

Not sure if I am going to upgrade or not. I have a 3G and have been considering dropping it for a Pre and Sprint to save the money on my monthly plan. The Pre looks to bring a lot more "new" to the table then this does, IMHO.
All launches have issues. Anyone who holds Palm anymore accountable for them then any other company is fooling themselves.

The real test is how Palm will handle and resolve them.
I had really hoped that Sony would take this change to add dual analog sticks. I'm disappointed with this. :(

There was some talk that it would have a full touchscreen, but that does not look to be the case either. If it was they would be hyping it up on the marketing material.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
