First of all we don't know if the bride told her to stop. The bride says she told her to stop, but I have a hard time believing that 1 The bride told a world renowned photographer to stop taking pictures and she went ahead and just did it anyway(seriously you don't get such a good reputation from ignoring your clients wishes) and 2 if the photographer was crossing the line that neither she nor anyone else there with her got the photographer out of the room where she was dressing. I know weddings are chaotic and stressful, but you can't tell me that you are so distracted by everything going on that you don't notice this woman taking pictures of you after you have told her to stop and neither did anyone else. I just recently got married and have been in a few weddings, what I've seen happen is when the bride is getting dressed she has the option of allowing the photographer in the room or not. She probably let her in to take pictures and later regretted it so now she wants to make it seem like the photographer was being inappropriate.
I think this sounds great! The best way to get around the time square area is to walk anyway. Take a bus or a train to port authority and walk around. What Ave. will it begin with and what ave will this end with?
Amen to that ;-)
As soon as I read the title of your article my mind immediately went to the dirtiest sleaziest hotel I have ever stayed at. Sure enough as I looked down to the picture I saw Hotel Carter. That place is such a dump. I took my fiancé into the city for a weekend for our Anniversary, we saw strawberry fields (Beatles cover band) at BB Kings Blues club, ate at the hard rock cafe, went to Madame Tussauds wax museum and spent the night at Hotel Carter. We had just gotten engaged so I wanted this to be a huge anniversary celebration, but I was 19 at the time so I didn't have allot of money for a hotel room so I got the cheapest one near the places I wanted to take him. When we walked up to our room there were lights out in the hall the rugs were a little torn and it was pitch black in the little area to go into the room. then when we got in the outsides of the windows were covered in dirt bugs and bird poop and the entire inside of the room was dirty the mattresses are covered in plastic I remember thinking that was really weird. Then the shower! It was so dirty there was no way either of us wanted to shower in it. When I got home from NYC the first thing I did was take a hot shower and scrub as hard as I could lol
I am a straight woman, and I LOVE hooters! They make the best wings and a really awesome philly cheese steak. If these girls want to wear short shorts and shirts that show off their cleavage let them. Who cares? You see more at the beach than you do in Hooters. My fiance and I go there sometimes, hah we went for his birthday once and the waitresses taught him how to hoola hoop. That place is a blast!
I can't afford school right now, so guess what? I'm not going. It's not the taxpayers responsability to pay for my food while I go to school, it's my own. If you can meet your basic needs then you can do extra things like go to school. I have no simpathy for that. People who aren't in school are struggling too my fiance and I both work full time and then we work overtime as much as possible. That's life.
The whole "flashing" thing is ridiculous... I could see if they showed their underwear because I'm pretty sure that's considered indecent exposer, but I'm not sure. However these aren't underpants they're bloomers they're meant so the girls can do flips and tumbles and not have their underwear showing, they're meant to be seen so everyone needs to relax.

"6. This is on par to where we are headed as a country. We have a governor in the south leading a public prayer meeting for the GODS to send RAIN.

We are fast becoming a RELIGIOUS STATE"

You're really ignorant #6 this has nothing to do with religion. I was just discussing this with my mother and she is th most uptight conservative christian i know and she thinks this is completely uncalled for as well. And as for the prayer for rain, why can't the govern lead a prayer meeting? Just because you work in the government does not mean you can't do religious things, that's not what seperation of church and state is about. It's there so people can't force others to follow their religion through the government, not to make the government renounce their own religion.
idk if it was staged or not, but when i sing a song that touches me I cry too... and I'll cry often. She's probably just an emotional girl
"The reason very fat people (people who are slightly overweight, or "pudgy" dont bother me at all) bother me is because it is a direct reflection of their self discipline and morals. If this person does not care about his/her own health, I cant expect them to care about mine. A person who cannot even care for them self cannot possibly gain my respect. The fact that ANY slack is given to these people who blatantly make themselves fat is what really disgusts me.

Ok lets start out with being fat has nothing to do with how they'llcare about you're health so that's a moot point. So you say you don't like them because it shows they have poor discipline and morals? Ok so then none of your friends smoke, drink on a regular basis, have an eating disorder, etc. because your morals must be just too good for all of those people. Is that it? You are such a superior person that you don't have any vices like fat people do. I bet you if I met you I could find one, but I wouldn't even try because it's rude. Being judgemental is the reason there is so much hate in this world. If we could all just respect eachother and apreciate the differences in this world we'd get along so much better. Some one being fat does not affect you at all. So whether it's an eating disorder, they let it happen, it's a physical disability, etc. it shouldn't matter as long as they are comfortable with themselves and they treat others with respect and dignity that's all that really counts. So next time you see a fat person, or any other person who's different frm you, walking down the street quit leering and quit judging you'll find you'll be much happier with an open mind.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
